2020 Dodge Durango

One of the most powerful SUVs available in the market right now, the Dodge Durango has rapidly gained popularity owing to its immense potential combined with elegant looks.

The Durango can help you walk the fine line between a sturdy SUV and an athletic, sporty car. For the New Year, Dodge has released the updated 2020 Dodge Durango. Let’s take a look at all the features of this upgraded version:

Trims Available

There are six trims available for the 2020 Dodge Durango:

  • SXT
  • SXT Plus
  • GT
  • GT Plus
  • Citadel
  • R/T

The SXT is the basic version of the Durango, while the R/T is the most powerful and luxurious trim offered.

Engines and Performance

As far as the engines are concerned, there are two options to choose from, a V-6 engine and a V-8 engine.

With the 3.6-liter V-6, which comes standard on the SXT and SXT Plus, the Durango is pumped with up to 293 hp of power. This can shoot the car from 0 to 60 mph in the early 7-second range. The towing capacity of this variant stands at about 5600 pounds.

The 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 engine comes as optional on all the trims except the R/T, in which it’s standard. This engine can pump up to 360 hp power, helping it reach 60 mph in about 6.2 seconds, a pretty impressive timing for an SUV of its size. The towing capacity also significantly increases with this engine, as it can haul up to 7200 pounds.

Performance on the Road

The suspension of the model feels extremely smooth and comfortable, thereby enhancing the driveability. The stability the steering provides acts as a constant reminder that it’s a huge beast you’re handling.

The movement is incredibly smooth, and the passengers remain unaware of any imperfections of the road no matter how big.

The third row comes as an option in all the trims of the Durango. Also, the second and third-row seats are foldable and can be stowed to accommodate any extra cargo. The materials used for the interiors and seats supply the car with a rather luxurious feel.
